My name is Blackcat. My real name is Marjolein. I'm 23 years old and I live in Holland. I am currently doing the Research Master Literary Studies at the University of Amsterdam. I specialize in Victorian literature and my main research interest is Victorian death and mourning. But don’t be afraid; I am a very optimistic person, so I will not be writing any gloomy posts hahaha. Next to my studies I work part-time at the customer care center of a company that helps people in The Netherlands to apply for social housing. Although I sometimes have to disappoint people, my job is still very rewarding as I can sometimes really offer people a solution to their problem.
I sometimes also do translations for people. I have mostly been asked to do translations by artist management bureaus situated in the classical music circuit, so my forte is currently classical music.
My hobbies are reading, writing, singing, and webdesign and graphic design. I love Anime and manga and I am a HUGE Disney fan. As I know a lot about Disney and often wear Disney t-shirts, it has become a trademark of mine.
